At Care4Her Clinic (“we”, “us”, “our”), led by Dr. Madhavi Vinod Jaware, BAMS, your privacy matters. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. Who this applies to
Anyone who visits this website, messages us on WhatsApp, books an appointment, or consults with us online or in-clinic.
2. What we collect
- Contact details: name, phone number, email, WhatsApp number.
- Health information: symptoms, medical history, test reports, prescriptions, and photographs you choose to share during consultation.
- Payment details: processed by third-party payment gateways. We do not store card or UPI credentials on our servers.
- Usage data: browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URL via standard website analytics.
3. How we use your information
- Book appointments and respond to your messages and calls.
- Provide consultations, prescriptions, and follow-ups.
- Maintain your medical record as required under Indian medical practice.
- Send appointment reminders, test reports, and care instructions.
- Improve the website and our services.
- Comply with legal obligations, including records retention.
4. Legal basis
We process your data based on your consent when you initiate contact, book, or consult with us. We also rely on legitimate medical care as permitted under the DPDP Act for health-related processing, and on our obligation to comply with applicable laws.
5. Who we share it with
- WhatsApp (Meta) for messaging. Their own privacy policy applies to messages you send.
- Payment gateways for processing payments.
- Cloud and email providers that host our records under standard data processing terms.
- Government authorities if required by law.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your health information for advertising.
6. Data retention
- Medical records are retained for a minimum of 3 years from the date of last consultation, in line with Indian medical regulation. They may be retained longer for legal reasons.
- Website usage logs are retained for up to 12 months.
- You can request earlier deletion, subject to our obligation to retain medical records.
7. Your rights under the DPDP Act
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure, subject to legal retention periods.
- Raise a grievance and receive a response.
- Nominate someone to exercise your rights in case of incapacity or death.

8. Cookies
We use a small number of essential and analytics cookies to measure traffic and improve the site. You can disable cookies in your browser.
9. Children
Our services are intended for women aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us to have it deleted.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Cross-border transfers
Our messaging (WhatsApp) and cloud services may process data outside India. These providers are contractually bound to safeguard your data at levels consistent with the DPDP Act.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated where reasonable.
